About the game
Solo-made in 43h, spanning 4 days, by π¦@Colisan
Tools used: Clickteam Fusion 2.5+, Aseprite, BFXR
Music and wood ambiant sound from GameDevMarket, all other assets are made from-scratch during the jam
The entire devlog is viewable π¬here on Twitch.tv (in french)
I know download-only games can be a bit scary, but this engine's web export is broken. You'll find a clean virus analysis here if that can help
Post-jam minor fixes
- Removed "space to pause" that really made it seems like the game crashed
- Added a mandatory drop after the spawn, to encourage building in the gap
- Removed the "made for LD52" .exe description, left from wiping the previous game and starting anew in the same file for waaaay too many jams

TL;DR: Quick start please!
Click to build, scroll to scale, speed=points
First move: Platform beneath panda + scale it up

damn that's a hard game!
Game has potential, I do understand the limited time but the controls and art felt clunky. I hope your happy with the win.
I get people are being rude about it; but having playtesters RATE your game might be a little unfair lol, it's okay.
I'm talking about "playtesters" as in "unknown other jammers streaming their rating timeframe", not "people who got to know the game and already were good at it during the jam". The ratings are still honest, self-decided and made innocently after discovering the game.
But yeah, those are the set rules to play by, and I agree with you. Wrote about it here =)

Goofiest title ever, but silly names for silly games ig lol
Congrats on first place!
your point being?
Then name them my guy
That's only one other game. Even if multiple games had the same Isekai title joke, I have to ask what @de_g0od already asked: what's your point?
People need to chill in the comments, lmao, I love the isekai title and aesthetics of this game! Nice work!
Great job! Fuck (pardon me) all these mean comments, you deserve it!
Hey, just wanted to say congrats on getting #1! ^^
Hi everyone in the comment section here ππΌ
I won't delete any, but please refrain from posting cynical remarks about the rating.
The whole devlog is viewable on twitch, and most of the ratings are viewable in playtesters streams. By questionning their fairness, you're not being nice to your own image, but you're also being disrespectful to @beowulfus_universum, @smallsthekobold, @luquitasdev, @mrnyrh, @exoskull1, @hedge_in, @antonio_fgomes, @Serket Studios, @lolibgpgm, @breloof, @gnomable, @Suchmish, @hawke_games, @sonnymakesgames, @timfactorial, or all the other I forgot to note on my spreadsheet π
Be nice, and may the tryhard be with you πβ¨
I shouldn't feed the troll, but I'll answer here once and for all:
I'll do an exeption for you: if you post one more non-constructive thing here I'll remove them all. Learn to behave yourself and grow up, you're unfit to the jamming creative mood.
Learn to behave yourself and grow up, you're unfit to the jamming creative mood.
Still don't get the point, do you?
Well deserved! Congratulations on your rating and your fun creative game!
Congratulations to everyone who participated. We're all winners for just making something in a limited timescale. No need to be a sourpuss.

4.9 style, 30 ratings.
For this to get a 4.9 style rating, it needs at minimum 27 ratings of 5 stars out of the total of 30 ratings.
Edit: I am not accusing this game of cheating, there are more than 200 games in this jam with very impressive numbers. A lot of games in the past gmtk jams also have seemingly probability-defying values.
So? It looks pretty good.
Fair point, but there are a ton of devs so probably all the devs have friends who played it and, as a kind gesture, rated it crazy high.
Also, about the "stylized games that didn't even get near top 100", that's probably because they lacked in other categories.
And honestly, if you're tryin' to say they cheated, did you not just set your expectations too high and are now envious they won?
Except it's not at all about probabilities, pretending so is just insulting to the dev's talent.
πI just wanted to talk about math okayyyy
